Disposable bed pads (also known as underpads or Chux) are multi-layer, single-use absorbent protectors designed to shield beds, chairs, examination tables, and other surfaces from urinary incontinence leaks, post-partum lochia, and clinical fluid spills . Constructed with a soft non-woven topsheet, a highly absorbent core (fluff pulp and super-absorbent polymer), and a waterproof polyethylene backing . Available sizes range from 40cm x 60cm (absorbs 700ml) to 90cm x 60cm (absorbs 1700ml) . Suitable for use as standalone night protection, backup under body-worn products, or temporary surface protection during procedures . Not for long-term incontinence management—consult healthcare provider for appropriate use . Do not flush—dispose in waste container. Keep plastic packaging away from children.
