1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Plastic bag suffocation hazard: Plastic packaging can cause suffocation if placed over the mouth or nose. Keep away from babies, young children, and individuals with cognitive impairments. Dispose of packaging immediately after opening.

• Plumbing compatibility: While biodegradable, avoid flushing large quantities at once to prevent plumbing blockages. Dispose of in waste bins if necessary.

• Hygiene maintenance: Store in a clean, dry area away from moisture to maintain product integrity and prevent bacterial growth. Replace if packaging is damaged or product becomes damp.

• Keep out of reach of children: Store in a location where young children cannot access the product to prevent potential ingestion or suffocation.

• Flammability warning: Keep away from open flames and heat sources as cellulose-based tissue is combustible.

2. FIRST AID MEASURES

• Ingestion: If a small amount of tissue is accidentally swallowed, it typically passes through the digestive system without issue. If large amounts are consumed or if choking, gagging, or difficulty breathing occurs, seek medical attention immediately.

• Eye contact: If tissue fibres contact the eye, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, lukewarm water. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.

• Suffocation: If packaging is placed over the mouth or nose, remove immediately and seek emergency medical attention if breathing difficulties persist.

3. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

• Flammability: Cellulose-based tissue is combustible. Will burn if exposed to open flame.

• Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, foam, dry chemical powder, or carbon dioxide (CO₂).

• Fire Response: For small fires, use appropriate extinguisher. Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) for fires involving burning cellulose.
